Assistant Mayor Su Limian, male, was born in Cixi, Zhejiang Province, in April 1956. He was admitted to the CPC in May 1980. He is a graduate from the department of economics of Zhejiang Provincial Party School, and a post graduate of economics of Zhejiang University. He was once Member of the Party Branch and Vice Manager of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives in Xiaolin Cixi. He successively served as member of the Party Committee, Vice Director, Vice Secretary, Vice Director, Secretary, and Director of Cixi Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, Director and Party Sectary of Financial and Trade Office of Cixi City, Director of Office of Cixi Municipal Committee of the CPC, Vice Mayor of Cixi Municipal Government, Member of Yuyao Municipal Standing Committee of CPC, Executive Mayor, Vice Secretary, Mayor, and Secretary of Yuyao Municipal Committee of the CPC, He served as Secretary and Ningbo Municipal Government and Secretary of Party Leadership of General Office of Ningbo Municipality. Since April 2006, he has served as Assistant Mayor, Secretary General, Member of Party Leadership of Ningbo Municipal Government.

He is in charge of urban planning, urban construction, city administration, traffic and transportation, environment protection, and people's national defense, land reserves, finance, and the construction of the East New Town. The government departments he takes charge of are: Commission of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction, Bureau of Urban Planning, Bureau of City Management, Traffic Commission, Bureau of Environment Protection, Office of Air Defense, Construction Command of East New Town, Command of Railway Construction, Administrative Committee of Airport and Logistic Park, and local banking institutions.
