Yu Hongyi, female, was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, in October 1958. She was admitted to the CPC in December 1990. Her educational background: graduate of Laser Instrumentation Department of Zhejiang University. She successively served as Assistant Director, Vice Director and Director of Ningbo Electronic Instrumentation Bureau, and Division of Foreign Economy. Then she served as Manager of Ningbo Electromechanical Device Bidding Center and Manager of Trade Company of Ningbo Free Trade Zone, Vice Manager, Manager, and Party Secretary of Ningbo Electronic Instrumentation Industry Company, Chairman of the Board, General Manager, and Party Secretary of Ningbo Electronic Information Group Co. Ltd, Vice Chairman, General Manager, and Party Secretary of the Board of Ningbo Company of China Putian Electronic Information Group, Chairman of the Board of Ningbo Bird Co. Ltd. She is Congressperson of the 10th National People's Congress.
