Ningbo Concert Hall partners with Hangzhou Performing Arts Group

On the evening of January 11, “2021 Future New Sound” Ningbo Concert Hall strategic signing ceremony and key performance conference was held in Cheese Park. Adhering to the operation principle of “going out and coming in”, Ningbo Concert Hall and Hangzhou Performing Arts Group have joined hands to carry out strategic cooperation, and will start closer cooperation in the future in terms of connecting with international and domestic authoritative music institutions and introducing music festival brands and high-end performance projects.

 

Ningbo Concert Hall is located in the scenic Sanjiangkou in the center of Ningbo, and is a continuous building of Ningbo News and Culture Center Building, with a construction area of 2,676 square meters and a total of 605 seats. Since its completion in 2002, Ningbo Concert Hall has always been the most professional medium-sized concert hall in Ningbo. Teachers and students from the Central Conservatory of Music, the China Conservatory of Music and other well-known institutions, famous symphony orchestras at home and abroad such as the China Film Orchestra and the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as singers and performers such as Liao Changyong and Dai Yuqiang have performed here.

 

Hangzhou Performing Arts Group is a full industry chain, state-owned performing arts and cultural enterprise group under Hangzhou Culture Radio and Television Group. The group has multi-disciplinary performing arts resources, professional production and operation teams and top quality theater resources, with over 700 performances throughout the year.

 

After the two sides sign the strategic cooperation, Hangzhou Performing Arts Group will be responsible for the introduction, scheduling, operation and performance of the plays throughout the year. Both sides will jointly promote the marketing of the plays. The signing is an important step to strengthen cultural exchanges between Hangzhou and Ningbo, and it is also a practical path to implement the cultural Zhejiang project in the new era, faithfully practice the “Eight Strategies” and strive to build an “important window”.

We will strive to make Ningbo Concert Hall a Ningbo city cultural landmark and further enhance the city's cultural soft power." After the signing ceremony, the first project introduced by Hangzhou Performing Arts Group for Ningbo Concert Hall - 2021 Fujian Symphony Orchestra New Year Concert National Tour Ningbo Station was staged. Sun Gravel, the famous singer and director of Fujian Opera and Dance Theatre, and Ma Hong, the famous soprano, brought a wonderful musical feast to Ningbo audience.
