2017 China Cross-border E-commerce International Designer Products Fair& Zhejiang Imported Goods Expo to Be Held

Hosted by the Ningbo government and the Department of Commerce, Zhejiang Province, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Ningbo Committee (CCPITNB), the 2017 China Cross-border E-commerce International Designer Products Fair & Zhejiang Imported Goods Expo (hereafter referred to as “the Fair”) will be held from March 10th to March 12th, 2017 in the Ningbo International Convention & Exhibition Center. The Fair took shape as CCPITNB tries to seize the new opportunities opened up by the rapid development of domestic and foreign cross-border e-commerce, to adapt to the undergoing shift from a manufacturing economy to a consumer economy, to cater for the demand at home for foreign high-end consumer goods and to implement the new strategy that calls for high-quality imports and exports. Centering on the main task of building an open economy and guiding while encouraging enterprises to boost local or even provincial import and cross-border e-commerce by utilizing the “Internet +” initiative, the sound industrial basis and policy support of the city or the province, CCPITNB also takes a step further the national pilot project to build a comprehensive e-commerce zone. What’s more, the Fair aims to provide a display and trading platform for the domestic and foreign sellers, to fully connect the suppliers, buyers and service providers like the logistics finance service providers across the international trade chain and to deepen the involvement of Chinese market in the international trade. Currently the preparatory works have been basically completed with the support of the organizing committee.

The Fair has set up 10 major exhibition sections: the Cross-border E-commerce Section, the Affordable International Luxury brands Section, the National and Regional Booths Section (including the Germany Booth, the Japan Booth, the Korea Booth, the Thailand Booth and the Taiwan Booth),the International Audio-visual Equipment Section, the International Electrical Appliance Brands Section, the International Auto Brands Section, the Shanghai FTA High-end Imports Section, the International Crafts, Jewelry& Accessories Section, the Meishan Imports Section and the International Food Section. The Fair will occupy Halls No. 1, 2 and 3 with a total area of 18,400 square meters, which means a capacity of 900 standard booths. More than a thousand exhibitors from over a hundred countries and regions, hundreds of cross-border shopping platforms and over ten thousand international name brands will appear in their full glitz and glamour. Products to be displayed include cars, household appliances, audio equipment, clothing, jewelry& accessories, clocks & watches, bags, beauty & skin care products, beverages, foods, crafts and other high-end imported consumer goods. The Fair is committed to offering a unique exhibition that combines Chinese cross-border e-commerce and international brands.

Special activities will be held during the Fair, such as the 2017 Alibaba Cross-border E-commerce Ecosystem Conference, the Cross-border Sourcing Meeting and several promotion events for special imports. The Fair will be open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. from March 10th to March 12th. Cross-border e-commerce enterprises, cross-border trade service providers, import agents, buyers, distributers and managers of chain supermarkets and convenience stores are all welcome to negotiate business or seek for communication and cooperation, so are fellow citizens who would like to come and purchase high-quality imported goods at moderate prices.
