Countdown to 21st Ningbo International Fashion Festival

The forthcoming 21st Ningbo International Fashion Festival will be held on October 19 in Ningbo. At present, such affairs as integrating business, exhibition invitation and preparations are in smooth progress. This festival will receive a great number of world-famous brands.

As one of the most powerful and influential fashion events in China, 2017 Ningbo International Fashion Festival, themed with “Ningbo clothing makes the world up”, will focus on “Intelligence, integration and innovation”. Also, it will showcase international and local fashion trends and promote the Apparel & Clothing industries more fashionable and intelligent in all respects so as to establish a fashion industry base with international influence and to become a propeller for the "Famous City" construction of the city.

This festival has gained enhanced international influence in recent years, and was considered as the best platform to land in Chinese market by an increasing number of international brands. It has attracted a total of 235 enterprises and 204 brands, from such countries as the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, Canada, Korea, Japan, Germany, Russia and Pakistan, to join the exhibition, among which 26 brands are from domestic cities at prefecture level and above, overseas and non-local brands accounted for 44% of the total number, and International brands 12%. Therefore, the festival has set up a separate international division to display such categories as children's clothing, sportswear, apparel fabrics and intelligent software, involving George Brummell British advanced customized men’s clothing, Magnal Solutions, Wild Things, LENA, KUTUZOV, “ArtFuture” Design School, etc. In addition, it also introduced German ISPO AWARD 2017 ROADSHOW to showcase the latest global top high-tech outdoor sports products.

The 2017 exhibition also set up a division for exhibiting ethnic costumes for the first time, presenting more than 260 kinds of clothing of 48 minorities inhabited in Guizhou province, including handmade embroidery in Miao (ethnic group) style, Chinese brocades and apparel & clothing products of such minorities as Buyi and Dong ethnic groups.
