Industry and Commerce Bureau of Ningbo says that the first half of the year saw an additional of 68 new investors from Hong Kong and new investment of 618.76 million USD, which makes Hong Kong the largest investor in the city.

Industry and Commerce Bureau of Ningbo also says that the first half of the year saw 176 investors and an investment of 0.774 billion USD and registered capital of 0.451 billion USD. Investment from Hong Kong accounts for four fifth of the investment, which means increases of 79% and 221% respectively over the same period of last year.

In recent years, Hong Kong has been the largest resource of investment. Last year, Hong Kong invested 0.932 billion USD, accounting for 76% of all the investment of the year. Fields which receive investment include logistics, hospitals and finance.
