China Liang-Zhu Wedding Festival
Liang-Zhu Cultural Park, in the west suburbs of Ningbo, is one of the places of origin in China for the legend of the love story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai. Liang-shanbo Temple and the Tomb to Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai are in the Park. The temple fair has a tradition in Ningbo with a long history, as the saying goes: “For a happy marriage, you have to visit the Temple of Liang Shanbo. China Liang-Zhu Wedding Festival opens from 29 September to 3 October. Activities include the opening ceremony, visiting the park, the selection of top ten “butterfly misses”, and the closing ceremony and so on.
