| Selection of curator for World Expo Tengtou Pavilion kicks off | | | 2010-03-16 19:10:56 | The initiation ceremony for the selection of the curator for the Tengtou Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo was held last week in Beijing. The to-be-selected curator is expected to show the eco-friendly village of Tengtou to the world at the Expo.
The Tengtou Pavilion at the Shanghai Expo takes the theme of Urbanized Countryside and Livable Homestead in Dreamland. It is aimed to showcase the ecological environment, modern agriculture and the achievements in overall development of urban and rural areas. The set-up work of the Pavilion is to be finished by the end of March.

The threshold for our recruitment is quite low. As long as you love nature, ecology and the World Expo, or have participated in certain influential activities in countryside or agriculture, you can enter for the selection.
The organizing committee says that the information about the selection will be released on the China Net and the Tengtou Tourism Net. The sign-up time will last till April 8. Those interested in that only need to download the enrollment form, fill it and sent it the designated mailbox. Five Chinese candidates and five foreign candidates will be selected and open for public voting. The first five candidates come out from the voting will go the finals. The employment period for the curator will be two years. |
