In recent years, the area of loquats has grown steadily. Due to the apparent benefit, there added an area of 800 mu loquats. The present area actually triples that three years ago. By the first half of the year, the area of loquats has reached 2664 mu.

The local Loquat Festival and the construction of a trading market are believed to have contributed the increase of loquat price.
