Zhejiang Wanli University, situated in Ningbo, covers a total area of 87 hectares and consists of Huilong Campus and Qianhu Campus. ZWU has the most beautiful human-orientated campus, green and well - equipped, widely recognized by people from the education circle. In ZWU, there are Junior College, Business School, Law School, Faculty of Culture and Media, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Art and Design, Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Electronic and Information Engineering, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology as well as World College, Adult Education College, with 22 specialties of undergraduate (4-year program) and 30 specialties offering associate degree (3-year program), which contains such disciplines as economics , law, literature, science, engineering, agriculture and management. At present, the total number of full-time students at ZWU is 16,000.There are 750 qualified teachers, among them there are 50 professors, 200 associate professors, which is fairly proportional in professional titles and educational background and age.         

ZWU has a floor space of 450,000 square meters and experimental equipment worth more than 80,000,000 RMB installed in different laboratory centers, such as provincial key laboratory―fundamental course teaching demonstration center for electrical processing, electronic design automation (EDA) and digital signal processing (DSP) as well as food processing. ZWU processes 13 laboratory centers and 4 research institutes, such as culture, mathematics, biological technology and electronic engineering. Ningbo Industrial and Economic Development Research Center was set up at ZWU. The university has a library with a collection of more than 700,000 books, of which 2500 are current journal both in Chinese and foreign Languages. In the library, there are "the Closed Mirror Station for China Academic Journal Net", "Wanfang Data Service Center" and 6000 digital magazines on the university network.

 The university has attached great importance to the cultivation of students' pioneer spirit,innovative abilities, for many activities have been organized to foster their sense of innovation, such as extracurricular activities, competitions and scientific research.

For high education internationalization, ZWU has established relationship with many universities from the UK, USA, Canada, Japan and Australia, France, Korea and Ukraine. Most of the majors have already linked with the relevant faculties in these sister universities. Further more,ZWU has apartnership with the University of Nottingham, and has set up a new cooperative university, The University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China, which follows the education system of the University of Nottingham, UK. This is the first of the foreign top 200universities to establish a campus independently on the Chinese mainland.
