China Jade Garden is in Dayin Town, Yuyao City. The history of Dayin town can be dated back to the 7000-year-old Hemudu culture. It is in the embrace of grotesque and beautiful mountains and on the Yinxi Stream. For this environment, the town was extolled in ancient times as a "retreat away from the world" and a "Land of Happiness".

The Jade Garden, the largest jade-theme park of China, is situated at the foot of Jiulong Mountain (Nine-dragon Mountain), covering 233 hectares or 3,500 Chinese mu, and costing RMB 650 million yuan. With jade stone as the medium, the garden combines into one the enchanting landscape, premium jade sculptures and cultural relics. Among the jade carvings, there are 3 treasures handed down from ancient times, 8 national treasures and 40-odd state-level premium works. Therefore, it is a world of premium jade carvings. It is worth mentioning that the Xiyin Temple--the major spot in the Garden is the first temple of the kind in the world that is solely made of jade stones. The jade Buddha statues rank No.1 in the world no matter in terms of quantity, quality or in weight. Therefore, it was awarded the title of World's Largest Jade-theme Garden by Shanghai Headquarters of Guinness World Records.

The Gateway Arch of the Garden, an imitation of the official style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, is magnificent and spectacular, with the drawings and patterns color-painted dragon decoration in He Xi style.

On either side of the square are the carvings like Golden Toads Presenting Treasures and Kylins Presenting Treasures, both of which are symbols of wealth, rank and happiness. Besides, there are fine jade carvings of Success Horse, Wealth Horse and Trailblazer Ox, which imply that one needs to work consistently to get rich or successful.
