Main responsibilities:

1. To provide the overall plan and guidance for Ningbo's economic restructuring, and put forward tasks, focuses and suggestions for implementation of the annual economic restructuring, in accordance with the State and provincial overall plans and in light of realities of Ningbo.

2. To coordinate the implementation of the overall plan for economic restructuring, authorized by the Municipal Government; to organize relevant agencies to conduct investigations and verifications on major plans for economic restructuring, and provide suggestions and information to the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, and Municipal Commission for Economic Restructuring.

3. To organize pilot tests in general, coordinate the key special cases and supervise their implementation; to provide guidance for the reform and development of the central towns of Ningbo, together with relevant agencies.

4. To draw up overall plans and related policies for the development of Ningbo's stock companies and capital market, and ensure they are to be carried out; to guide the economic restructuring of non-public companies and audit them; to guide, coordinate and urge Ningbo's enterprises to go public; to guide the development and standardization of the public companies.

5. To organize investigations and researches for forward-looking and comprehensive restructuring projects, and keep the decision-makers informed of the new moves and information of the reform.

6. To undertake duties of the Municipal Commission for Economic Restructuring, and other tasks assigned by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.
