The main responsibilities of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Municipal Organs are:

1. To study and formulate specific administration policies and regulations of municipal organs; together with departments concerned, to study and formulate policy and plan of logistics system reform of municipal organs and organize their implementation after being approved; to offer professional guide to logistics service units of municipal organs.

2. To take charge of the management of administrative outlay, capital construction outlay of administrative housing and maintenance outlay of part of the municipal organs and institutions and special outlay like big activities.
 
3. To participate the logistics guarantee service work of important meetings and activities by municipal organs.

4. To be in charge of the governmental purchase of municipal organs, institutions and public organizations.

5. To provide related living service for the officials with vice mayor title or above who serve in the municipal committee, Municipal Commission of Discipline Inspection, Municipal People's Congress, the Municipal Government, the Municipal CPPCC, the Municipal Intermediate Court and the Municipal Procuratorate; to provide related living service for other officials appointed by the Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government.

6. To take charge of the cars management of municipal organs including cars' numbering, preparation and updating; to be in charge of the car use management of municipal governmental officials and the General Office of the Municipal Government.

7. To take charge of the construction, distribution, adjustment and maintenance of office building and subordinate houses of part of the municipal organs; to administer the house property right and record of the municipal organs; together with the Municipal Bureau of Land and Natural Resources, to have counterpart administration of land use right of municipal organs; to organize and carry out the housing system reform of municipal organs.

8. To take charge of comprehensive administration of environment building, security and fire control of the municipal organ building and people's aerial defense.

9. To undertake other tasks assigned by the Municipal Committee and Government.
